SEMEKOR PERFORMING ARTS is a dynamic African dance ensemble specialising in African dance & drumming. The company members, which include an orchestra based in the Volta region of Ghana, have extensive experience in drumming and dance tuition, performance and choreography in Europe, Africa and the Caribbean. They provide fun, stimulating dance and drum tuition. Semekor is an Ewe work from the Volta region of Ghana meaning 'clean soul, clean heart'. These words depict the ethos of their company and their work. Their Choreographer is Mohammed Durdoh
